Where Do We Start?

I notice many freelancers are very "vague" with pricing and "the process" but I like to keep my clients informed to give you the best experience possible!

Send Me An Email
In your initial email, please describe your project as much as possible.
Some things to consider adding to your email:

Project description: What am I designing for you? A children's book? A poster? What's on it? Dragons battling on a castle? Caricatures of your pets? Taco cat? etc..

Medium: For example: is it a digital illustration or hand-painted design on the back of a leather jacket? etc..

Time frame: When do you need your final submission from me?

Best method to reach you (email, call, text, carrier pigeon, smoke signals, etc..)

Any other things I should know. Like is it a valentines gift for someone? Does it hold sentimental value?

Include any photos or references if you'd like.

Once you've sent your email, please allow a couple days for a response.
I may have a few questions to verify with you before submitting a quote.

2 Quote
​Quote
A free "no obligation" quote will include a time frame estimate and price. It will be emailed to you for your authorization and signature. If the time frame given is not acceptable, it can be negotiated at a Rush Request price scale.
Once you receive the quote, please respond within a week.
If I do not hear from you within a week, I will reach out to see if you are still interested. If I do not hear from you within two days, I will assume you have decided not to go forward and I will be accepting other commission requests at that point. (You are always welcome to reach out later if you want, but we may need to adjust your quote and timeframe depending on any other projects I may have accepted since your initial inquiry.)

Invoice
Once the Quote is accepted, I will email you a final invoice with our agreed terms.

Commission Pricing
Due to the personalized nature of art requests, pricing will mostly depends on the hours invested, materials needed, scope of project, and deadline requested. I typically charge $20/hour + materials + base price (base price determined by the type of project requested).
3 Payment
50% Down Payment
After quote acceptance, a 50% minimum deposit will be required. Zelle, Paypal, personal checks, money orders, and official checks are accepted. Cash is accepted only for local customers. If using a personal check, I require the mailed check to clear and remain in my account for three days before continuing to ensure legitimacy. I will give you my phone number for Zelle or Paypal payment link in the email. Once payment is received and verified, I'll notify you and I'll start your project!
Sorry no other weird forms of payment are accepted at this time.

Progress Shots and Communication
I never want you to feel like you're in the dark. I will happily share you progress photos along the way. You can reach out at any time if you have any questions or changes. (Changes may result in price adjustment)

Timing
If you need your project by a specific date, I will send you a "final image" (with watermark) as soon as possible so I can make any revisions if necessary based on your feedback. Rush requests may or may not be accepted depending on the project as I do have a full time job. The timeframe of "regular pace" is determined after I receive the information on the project and can estimate the amount of work involved.

Delivery
Once your final payment is received and processed, I will deliver the product via mail or email depending on the nature of the work. Please leave a review and share on your social media! I also welcome referrals! :)

Refunds
Refunds and Customer Satisfaction Policy
If you are unsatisfied with the progress of the project, the project itself, or even with me,
PLEASE TELL ME and let me know how I can do better!
I want you to be happy! :)

During the process of our agreement, I will be sending you progress photos. During this time, if it seems that the project isn't what you imagined, please notify me as soon as possible so I can make adjustments. Don't worry, you won't hurt my feelings! I know it can feel "weird" to speak up, it's ok, I promise! I'll be cool about it.

Refunds after the 50% Deposit
If you decide before submitting the final payment that you are unhappy and no longer want to continue, I will refund part of your 50% deposit. Total amount refunded will depend on time and materials invested at that point of the process.

After Final Payment
By the time you have submitted your final payment, we have been in communication along the way with progress photos. I make an effort to make sure you are satisfied with the final piece before I send the last bill. Because of this, I do not give refunds after a final payment was made unless it is an extreme situation. In those situations, I will offer a partial refund of up to 35% of the full price paid. This is because I make a point to ensure you are 100% satisfied before I request the final payment and deliver the product.
